   Because many PCs are infected with some form of virus or spyware, regardless of whether an antivirus program is installed or not, I do a virus/spyware check for every PC I work on. I will run it through 3 different virus scanners, 3 different spyware scanners and then manually clean up anything left behind. You may think this is overkill, but different virus/spyware scanners are better suited to removing certain viruses/spyware and miss others. I also install a free antivirus and antispyware program on each PC I work on, to help keep things running smoothly, if you want.

   After a while, all PCs will start to act sluggish, due to a phenomenon called win rot. Just like your car needs regular maintenance to keep running well, your computer needs attention too. For this reason, I perform a system tune-up on each PC I work on to keep it happy and running its best.

Home:
$50 for each PC, no matter how many problems it has
$15 total for travel to pick up and drop off the PC

Small Businesses:
$50 an hour at your place of business, or $50 for each PC, if I can bring it with me
$15 total for travel to your business or to pick up and drop off the PC
